Becoming a Marriage & Family Therapist was a second career for me.

My experience in the business world, as a stay at home mom, and, now, a working mom, provides me a wealth of perspective to draw from and understand real family situations.

I’ve always been drawn into conversation with people—even strangers—about their personal lives. When I learned about MFTs I realized this is what I had been doing my whole life. My family systems training brought all the pieces together for me. MFTs systemic approach reflects my core beliefs about life and relationships.

I believe that perfect blend of instinctual empathy and the structured, systemic process, is the perfect balance for this career.

My client base is founded almost entirely on word-of-mouth. The fact that my clients, friends and doctors are the source of virtually all my referrals is something in which I take enormous pride!

I grew up in Bucks County, am a Central Bucks graduate, and currently live in Chalfont. I have been married over 25 years and have two sons, both in college. My free time is spent visiting my sons in Washington, DC and New York City and spending time with my one year-old niece.

We are entertained daily by the antics of our cat Cloud and dog Bella. Bella, an Australian Shepherd looks forward to working with me each day. She provides a calm and loving atmosphere to my office and has created her own relationship with each client.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

I have a BS in Marketing, MBA from St. Joseph’s University and MA in in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University.

I chair the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce Parenting & Family Committee, and am the President of the Pennsylvania Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

I am a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
