Corinne
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Family therapy is a unique way to consider the systems and relationships that impact daily life including our families, friendships, work and community. Furthermore, those relationships are impacted by lifestyles, values and expectations. My personal experiences have helped me appreciate the importance of addressing the impact of our own history and personal narratives with self-compassion to lead us to living a fulfilled and purposeful life. I aspire to offer a meaningful, safe and compassionate relationship with each client. My office is a relaxing space where everyone can feel welcomed, comfortable and at ease. My systemic training gives me the ability to welcome all family members, care givers and others that would benefit my clients therapeutic journey by joining our therapy sessions.
I realized soon after graduating with a degree in Marketing, that my true passion was helping others. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to joining Amy in private practice, I worked in both inpatient and community mental health facilities serving all ages and levels of mental health diagnoses. I have served as Chair of the Board of the Pennsylvania Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (PAMFT) as well as the Bucks County Regional Director. I am a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families throughout their lifespans including young children, teens, adults and seniors. I have over 15 years of experience assessing, diagnosing and treating various mental health and relational issues, including ADHD, depression, grief, anxiety and PTSD. I am an experienced marriage and couple therapist, in addition to providing co-parenting counseling, and reunification counseling for families after separation. I am an EMDR therapist and nationally certified in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy for adults and children.
If you are lucky, my mini Bernedoodle Suki, joins me for sessions a few days each week. She adds warmth and comfort to our sessions as well as a bit of comic relief.
At home, I enjoy biking, running and gardening, but mostly I love being a mom and spending time with my husband and our daughters.
