Marriage & Family Therapist

I believe therapy is not just about addressing symptoms, but an opportunity for growth. Being a marriage and Family therapist is a second career for me. In my previous life in the business world one thing remained clear: my belief that human relationships are the most important aspect of our lives.

This belief has recently led me back to therapy. Being a couples and family therapist has allowed me to help heal others using relationships not only as a lens into their personal opportunities and challenges but also as a means of restoring mental health, personal satisfaction, and joy.

I use a systems perspective and approach to help reclaim their balance in relationships, careers, and their inner selves. I want clients to uncover the triggers in their systems that prevent them from making changes. When couples come to me for help, I am guided by a deep respect for the difficulty of being a couple in crisis. I aim to help each person rediscover and uncover the treasures hidden within the relationship through an honest acknowledgment of “what is,” and a deeper understanding of themselves and their partners.

I enjoy working with individuals, couples and adolescents. I worked as a therapist at a community-based behavioral health clinic and as a mobile therapist.

When not working, I enjoy my time with my adolescent children, my adult son, and our dog Lily. I love nature, making time to be outside, and enjoy writing stories.
